I started this business of mine in 2018 and haven't looked back since. I was in college set on being a teacher and I realized I just didn't love it. It didn't give me the freedom I crave and need to be happy in life. So, I decided to go head first into being a business owner. I chose to take a passion of mine since I was 13, and turn into into a career and it was the best decision of my life. Don't get me wrong, I love love love my job and all the beautiful people I get to photograph, but what I also value so much about my job is the freedom it gives me to live life the way I want to. I love to travel and can hardly stand being in one place for too long.

One of the most important things to me when working with my clients is making sure they feel comfortable, welcome, and wanted. I am a part of the LGBTQ+ community, and I know what it feels like to have to worry if you are accepted when searching for someone to document your biggest moments. I got to experience this first hand when me and my fiancé were looking for our photographer. As two women getting married, we had to make sure that our photographer was inclusive right off the bat. So, I just wanted to make it easy for you, if you are having a similar experience. I am here for you, no matter who you are. If you are looking to be accepted and celebrated for that unapologetically, I welcome you with open arms.

I'm a lover of morning hikes, outlaw country music, Taylor Swift, swimming in Lake Michigan, long road trips, my two golden retrievers, and my beautiful fiancé, Kate. I have to remind myself that photography is just a fraction of a part of who I am, just like the season of life you have chosen me to document is only a fraction of you. So, I want you to get to know the real me and I want to know the real you. This is more than just photos. This is me getting to witness and document your most precious moments. I want you to feel like I am your friend by the end of this, and not just someone you hired to take pretty photos.

Not only did she communicate honestly and openly the entire process but she made me feel comfortable and confidently with the knowledge she was sharing with me. During my shoots with Tess I felt very comfortable and open to being myself. I’ve done two shoots in total (one a boudoir andy wedding) with Tess and both times I had so much fun. My husband who is very camera shy was very open and bubbly in front of Tess and her camera, so with that being said I am beyond impress with her skills. The final edits are amazing as expected and the turnaround time that Tess gets them out is impressive as hell. It usually takes 4-5 weeks for a session and 6-10 weeks for a wedding, depending on the season and work load. You will receive an email with a link to an online gallery with the edited pictures when they are done.

Yes I do. For any Arizona based weddings, there is no additional travel cost. For weddings within the US, travel fees are included in the price. Email me for any wedding outside of the US to receive a custom price!
