If you’re anything like me, shooting couples is a breeze. Especially when I first started, I was incredibly comfortable shooting elopements, engagements, and, of course, the bride and groom. However, shooting groups was a different story. The unpredictability of group photography at a wedding made me nervous. But as I continued to grow and learn, […]
Getting started as a wedding photographer can feel incredibly daunting. Especially if you are just starting out with little to no experience. How should you price your photography packages? Do you need a website? How do you attract new clients? These are just a few of the myriad of questions you probably have. While it […]
Wedding photography plays a pivotal role when capturing the magic and memories of one of the most memorable days in a couple’s life. From candid shots of genuine emotions to meticulously posed portraits, wedding photographers are tasked with preserving every precious moment of this joyous occasion. But have you ever wondered how wedding photography works? […]
When I first started my wedding photography business, I didn’t know where to start. I didn’t know how to properly pose the people I was photographing, which equipment I needed, and I certainly didn’t know how to shoot documentary-style photography. But as I grew in my photography career, something amazing happened. People started to ask […]
If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a wedding photographer, it’s to be well-prepared. And I mean Well-prepared with a capital W. On your client’s big day, you don’t want to be the one left scrambling. To prevent wedding day panic, a wedding day questionnaire is one of my go-to tools for my clients.
I remember when I first started out as a photographer. It can certainly be daunting. From understanding the complexities of your camera to learning the intricacies of photo editing, there’s a lot to learn. Even to this day, I’m still learning. But one of the ways to improve your photography skills is to look for a photography mentor.
As a wedding and elopement photographer, I can’t tell you how fulfilling it is to capture my client’s love stories during their wedding. Whether it’s a shared touch or a simple glance, a shared moment is incredible to capture. The way that I do that is through wedding photography, documentary style. I particularly love documentary-style […]
She makes us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and is so kind and easy to talk with! We couldn’t imagine working with anyone else to capture our lives and the big moments. She truly has such a gift and captures our love so candidly.
Tess is amazing to work with! We have worked with her a few different times and each time she knows how to capture the moment. She is so easy & fun to work with and you can tell how much she cares. If you want a photographer who is going to give you photos that will surly make you cry happy tears, then use Tess! 10/10 recommend.
I could go on and on all day about how amazing Tess is!! She is my go-to for ALL of my photo needs! Her talent is unbelievable and she makes my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of a camera. I am always obsessed with how our pics turn out every single time!!! If I could rate her a 10/10, I would! I definitely recommend Tess!
Not only did she communicate honestly and openly the entire process but she made me feel comfortable and confidently with the knowledge she was sharing with me. During my shoots with Tess I felt very comfortable and open to being myself. I’ve done two shoots in total (one a boudoir andy wedding) with Tess and both times I had so much fun. My husband who is very camera shy was very open and bubbly in front of Tess and her camera, so with that being said I am beyond impress with her skills. The final edits are amazing as expected and the turnaround time that Tess gets them out is impressive as hell. All in all, Tess is an amazing and talented person to work with and I’d recommend Tess to anyone!
